Nintendo Wii: And the Lack of Great Games

As a proud owner of a Nintendo Wii, I must admit, there are not many great games available for the system. In fact the few great games that I have played include The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 4, and Wii Sports. Apart from those games I've found nothing outstanding. I know that Super Mario Galaxy, and Metroid Prime are considered good games, but I'm just not that into them.

The games that I've played, after completing Resident Evil 4 included Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, James Bond: Quantum of Solace, and Skate It. Everyone of these games had potential to be great, but the controls in each one was terrible in its own right. There is a classic controller built from the Wii, and I for one think developers should keep this in mind when designing games. While the Wii remote, and nun-chuck worked very well for Resident Evil 4, it was not at all useful in Quantum of Solace. I think that a standard dual-analog stick control would have been the way to go (i.e. the Wii classic controller.)

Anyway, enough of my rant. I'd like to hear from you. Are there any great games for the Wii that I'm missing? Feel free to reply in the comments.

Thanks for reading.
